DeKALB – Parents seeking a COVID-19 vaccine for their children as young as five can now go to the DeKalb County Health Department without an appointment needed. According to a social media post on the health department's Facebook page, walk-ins are welcome for the child doses of the vaccine – for those ages 5 to 11 – three days per week. Hours for pediatric vaccines include: 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and 1 to 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the DeKalb County Health Department, 2550 Annie Glidden Road in DeKalb.
